Our Foundations program is structured to provide students with foundational elements needed for success with learning: solid skills, effective learning strategies, efficient and effective systems, and healthy habits.
Students work individually with a specialist each week during the school year. Tailored instruction develops the listening, speaking, reading, writing, executive functions, time and project management, memory, and study skills needed to succeed in school and beyond.
Our goal is for students to experience greater confidence and success with learning. With our structured, expert support, students generalize newly learned strategies to their independent work.
In one all-inclusive program, our Foundations program provides the keys to success:
Our comprehensive, multi-faceted program allows us to provide students and families with what they need when they need it.
We accept students on a rolling admission throughout the school year. They leave when they feel confident they can succeed on their own.
Architects For Learning helps me feel more confident. The skills I am learning are easy to use at home or school, and my grades are improving!Grade 5 student
Summer offers students the space and time to dive deeply into developing skills and strategies.
Students work one-to-one with a specialist chosen just for them every day for just a couple of weeks. That intensity allows students to pick up each day where they left off the day before. They build momentum quickly, spend less time on reviewing and more time on learning, and make great progress within a short time.
Whether working with us virtually or in person, we provide students with what they need to take their learning and school performance to the next level.
The Individual Program is a great option for students who do best with customized instruction, want to advance their learning through projects that spark their curiosity, or need structure and strategies to complete their summer reading or college application essays.
Academic Club Program
Our Academic Clubs offer students intensive instruction and the support of peers who have similar learning needs. We weave a theme through all learning activities using a multi-sensory, project-based curriculum.
Students step into roles as anthropologists, film critics, cryptozoologists, and more to develop a variety of learning, academic, and executive function skills while having a whole lot of fun.
The Academic Club Program is a great option for students who get the most out of learning when they are working with others and engaged in hands-on projects. Our 2024 Academic Clubs include:
July 22 – 26, 2024 . 9:00 – 3:00
Students entering grades 4, 5, and 6 are in for an exciting week of gathering clues, solving puzzles, and cracking codes within our escape room. While exploring famous escape artists and learning the keys to their success, students will learn proven strategies that strengthen their reading comprehension, note taking, executive functions, and writing.

One of the silver linings of remote sessions is getting to listen in. I am so impressed with how you connect with [my son] and help him build the skills that he needs not just to write well, but to build the resiliency and executive functions he needs every day. We are so fortunate to have you in his life.Mother of a middle school student.
The strategies I learned in the summer were so easy to learn and SO HELPFUL! I already know how I’ll be able to use them to take notes and stay organized next year. They’re going to save me in social studies and science.Grade 10 student
Too many smart kids make it to college and suddenly find themselves struggling. College puts different demands on students than high school does, and some students need individualized support to hone the skills, strategies, systems, and habits they need for success in college.
Our College Success Program offers three tiers of support, which allows us to provide just the right amount of instruction and guidance students need. We fade support gradually as students become more independent and take charge of their college experience.
I graduated from Bentley last month with my B.S. in Finance and Accounting. Thank you for the work you did with me beginning in elementary school and through high school. I would not have had the opportunity to attend a competitive school like Bentley if I did not have your support.College graduate
