Our School Year Program is structured to provide instruction and support for students and parents throughout the school year. Students work individually with a specialist each week to develop the listening, speaking, reading, writing, executive functions, project management, memory, and study skills they need to succeed in school.
Our goal is for students to experience greater confidence and success with learning. With our structured, expert support, students generalize newly learned strategies to their independent work.
In one all-inclusive program, our School Year Program provides the keys to success:
Our comprehensive, multi-faceted program allows us to provide students and families with what they need when they need it.
The School Year Program is structured in two, 21-week semesters. Families commit to working with us in the fall, the spring, or the whole school year. We accept students on a rolling admission throughout the school year. They leave when they feel confident they can succeed on their own.
Architects For Learning helps me feel more confident. The skills I am learning are easy to use at home or school, and my grades are improving!Grade 5 student
Summer offers students the space and time to dive deeply into developing skills and strategies within a structure that works best for them – 1:1 with an expert or with peers in a small group.
Rather than coming each week over the whole summer, students work with us every day for just a couple of weeks. That intensity allows them to spend less time on reviewing and more time on learning and mastering new skills.
Whether working with us online or in person, we provide students with what they need to take their learning and school performance to the next level.
In our Individual Program, students work one-to-one with a specialist chosen just for them. Sessions are held virtually or in person.
Scheduling sessions daily over a couple of weeks allows students to pick up each day where they left off the day before. They build momentum and make great progress within a short time.
The Individual Program is a great option for students who do best with customized instruction, want to advance their learning through projects that spark their curiosity, or need structure and strategies to complete their summer reading or college application essays.
Our Academic Clubs offer students an opportunity to receive intensive instruction in skills that are critical to school success with peers who have similar learning needs.
We weave a theme through all learning activities using a multi-sensory, project-based curriculum. Students work together in small groups to develop a variety of learning, academic, and social skills while having a whole lot of fun.
The Academic Club Program is a great option for students who get the most out of learning when they are working with others and engaged in hands-on projects. Our 2022 Academic Clubs include:
Strange Creatures Club
For students entering grades 3, 4, 5
Film Critic Club
For students entering 6, 7, 8
Instruction is offered in-person in our Needham office or virtually. Contact us now to register.
One of the silver linings of remote sessions is getting to listen in. I am so impressed with how you connect with [my son] and help him build the skills that he needs not just to write well, but to build the resiliency and executive functions he needs every day. We are so fortunate to have you in his life.Mother of a middle school student.
The strategies I learned in my summer club were so easy to learn and SO HELPFUL! I already know how I’ll be able to use them to take notes and stay organized next year. They’re going to save me in social studies and science.Grade 10 student
Too many smart kids make it to college and suddenly find themselves struggling. College puts different demands on students than high school does, and some students need individualized support to hone the skills, strategies, systems, and habits they need for success in college.
Our College Success Program offers three tiers of support, which allows us to provide just the right amount of instruction and guidance students need. We fade support gradually as students become more independent and take charge of their college experience.
I graduated from Bentley last month with my B.S. in Finance and Accounting. Thank you for the work you did with me beginning in elementary school and through high school. I would not have had the opportunity to attend a competitive school like Bentley if I did not have your support.College graduate
