| January 25, 2012 | SOLD OUT!! EmPOWER the MCAS In this workshop, we will explore how teachers can guide students with using EmPOWER for the open response and long composition subtests of the MCAS. Strategies for helping students access and apply what they know about writing while adhering to the format and rules of the state test will also be explored in depth. To address the varied testing demands of different grade levels, we will work in differentiated groups and provide ample time for hands-on practice. For 3rd - 10th grade teachers who have completed Level I training in EmPOWER. A panel discussion Please join us from 7-9 pm for a panel discussion with three nationally-recognized authorities on the subject.
