Our highly trained specialists work directly with schools and provide insight into what methods and strategies will work best for children who may be struggling in the classroom. We partner with schools to determine exactly what’s needed – whether it’s observing students and providing individualized recommendations, assisting teachers with developing curriculum that accommodates students’ unique learning styles and needs, assisting with the development of Individualized Education Programs or 504 Plans, refining existing programs, and/or designing new programs for students. We help schools serve the students in their care.
“I can’t thank you enough for the work you did with our team last year. Your suggestions were not only practical but do-able. Our teachers felt acknowledged and valued for their efforts, and you really helped them understand how to work with some of our most challenged learners. We all are so grateful.” – Public school administrator.
We also consult with parents whose children are not enrolled at Architects For Learning but who are seeking to better understand what their children need, how to prioritize instruction or support services, or how to help their children at home.
“Annie and I met with you yesterday, and it was amazing. You were so compassionate and understanding and knew all the right questions to ask. The most important thing was you were honest and forthcoming about things you could do for her, the things she’s kind of stuck with, and what we can do as parents. We have a clear direction. Thank you!” – Parent of a 7th grader.
