Tara Holzman, M.S., CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Tara
earned a Bachelor's degree with a double major in Early Childhood
Education and Communication Disorders from Bridgewater State College
and a Master's Degree in Communication Disorders from Emerson College.
She is a certified speech-language pathologist with more than 14 years
of experience in working with children and adults in hospitals,
out-patient clinics, rehabilitation centers, and public and private
schools. She especially enjoys helping students with emotional and
behavioral challenges realize their full potential socially and
academically. Tara feels very strongly that every child can succeed at
his or her own level and is a strong strong advocate for getting
student the help they need to feel successful. Tara is skilled in a
variety of techniques used to help children and adults with speech,
language, and social communication difficulties, including a
certification in the EmPOWER method of teaching writing. Students and
team members relate well to Tara's engaging style, sense of humor, and
use of proven methods to improve overall communication skills and
learning.
