Anya Shvartsman M.S., CCC
Speech-Language Pathologist/Reading Specialist

Anya received dual certification in speech-language pathology and reading from Mass. General Hospital's Institute of Health Professions.  With experience working in a private neuropsychology practice, public and charter schools, and a pediatric hospital, Anya is well-versed in designing comprehensive assessments and treatment plans for students with a wide variety of language, learning, literacy and social communication challenges.  Anya holds Level I Certification in the EmPOWER method and is highly skilled in research-based methods for developing listening, reading decoding, spelling, and comprehension, oral and written expression, verbal memory, executive function, and study skills.  She brings a warm, caring style to her work with students as well as a passion for infusing literacy instruction and creative outlets into all aspects of her instruction.
