Kristen
Mallett, M.S., CCC
Speech and Language Pathologist
Kristen is a speech-language pathologist with over 13
years of experience working with pre-school through college-age students. Her many years in clinical practice have
provided her with a deep understanding of a broad range of learning styles,
challenges, and disabilities. Kristen has worked in private and public school
settings, both in MA and NH, and she is currently licensed in both states. She worked at AFL full time for several
years, providing intervention, evaluation, and consultative services. Currently, her time here is almost
exclusively dedicated to conducting speech-language, reading, and writing
evaluations, program observations, and school consultation to support program
development and monitor student progress.
Kristen specializes in determining how language, cognition, memory, and
executive functioning systems influence and constrain students' learning. Students, families, and teachers connect
easily to her up-beat style, deep sense of compassion, and high level of
professionalism.
